In The Millions, Ramsey Noah transforms into a professional con-artist, whose criminality is always fired by lack of thrift.
At the movie’s The Millions premiere which took place at Sky Cinema, Lagos, Ramsey told Nollytrailers that the movie is a like derail of a typical Nollywood.
“It is about a whistle blowing heist, with a whole lot of humour, and a good storyline,” he said.
He added that movie making in Nigeria can be quite daunting when asked what a Nollywood director thinks when shooting. “Making a movie in Nigeria can be quite tedious. You don’t know what the audience want.
“Nobody wants to invest into film making today without making something out of the box office, so the onus fell on the stakeholders to produce a movie Nigerians would want to see. Most Nigerians don’t identify with telling a story in a sad because they already have the mindstate of so many sad things happening around them. They just want to come, have fun and laugh it off.”
Ramsey, who played a lead role in the movie, assured the movie puffs of getting their money’s worth when the movie finally hit the cinemas.
The film stars Ayo Makun, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ali Nuhu, Chika Lann, Broda Shaggi, Toyin Abraham, Ramsey Nouah, and Etinosa Idemudia.
The film, directed by Toka Mcbaror (Merry Men, Lotanna) and written by Tunde Apalowo, who also wrote (Catch.er), opens to general viewing on August 30.
