It has been an amazing and awe-inspiring year for The Queen Mzansi actor and heartthrob, Joe Kazadi who has been nominated for the Afro Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment Award.
The talented actor is nominated for the “Award of Excellence in African Movie Industry” for his portrayal of Thabiso in the award-winning Mzansi Magic soapie, The Queen.
The international nomination which comes just months after the actor welcomed his new baby girl is a notable achievement following his recent on-screen success. The organisers of the awards have thanked
the actor for his “immeasurable input into projecting African values, language, and culture” through his work.
Kazadi is due to fly out to Texas in October this year, where he and other nominees from across the globe will be honoured and feted on the big night.
Shaken and taken by his stellar performance on The Queen, the hunky actor has been dubbed the Mzansi’s“New Hunk on the Block”. Over the past few months on The Queen Kazadi has enjoyed a love and hate relationship with many of his female fans who have found his character both loveable and despicable at the same time.
“I am honoured and grateful for the Afro Heritage Broadcasting & Entertainment Award nomination. It could have come at a better time as I am enjoying the role of being a new father. Hopefully I get to win the award in Texas to cap off a fantastic and breathtaking year in my acting career,” says Kazadi.
