Gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori cries for help over death threat
Popular Nigerian gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori has cried out over alleged death threats.
Alaseyori, during an Instagram live session, begged the general public for prayer support.
In a now-trending video on the internet, the singer, who did not mention names, explained that she has been experiencing online attacks for the past six months.
She said: “I am supposed to fear human beings. I will not die untimely. It has become a taboo. You need to check my DMs. I see people’s comments, curses and I smile. I see people wishing me a lot of things. I will just laugh at you. Because whoever wishes me death is counting the days of death for him or herself.
“If you think what I deserve is to die, you also want to die. If you are calling for death, do not come to my DM. Do not tell anybody about me for evil.
If anybody gathers to wish me death, no matter how much they are, even if they are prophets, the angel of death will go after them. This world is wicked. It is so painful and sad. A whole lot of things are going on behind the scenes.
“Please pray for me. I need your help. If you see me on stage, pray for me. And pray for me when you don’t see me or hear from me.”

Lojay’s hit single ‘Monalisa’ saw even greater success when Chris Brown was featured on its remix, boosting its commercial performance.
Chris Brown has increasingly collaborated with Afrobeats artists, becoming one of the most influential foreign musicians in the genre.
His work with Nigerian stars, including Davido and Lojay, has further cemented the genre’s global reach and success.

The trio will join other international artists to deliver thrilling performances at the event, scheduled for 4th to 6th October 2024 at the Gold Coast.
Rema is set to perform on 5th October alongside American singers Jorja Smith, Fiji, and Miguel, adding his signature Afrobeats sound to the international lineup.
Meanwhile, Omah Lay and Asake will close out the festival on 6th October, sharing the stage with legendary American rapper Busta Rhymes.
The festival will also feature performances from popular acts such as The Compozers, Sarz, Seyi Vibez, Tiwa Savage, Victony, Ruger, BNXN, and Shallipopi.
