Ibrahim Chatta hospital bills ordeal has resurfaced online as the Nollywood actor opened up about losing his first child due to financial constraints.

In a video shared on YouTube by Abiola Orisile Events & Parties, the actor recalled the heartbreaking moment his daughter died in a Lagos hospital after he failed to raise the money required for her treatment.

Speaking to crew members on a film set, Chatta revealed that all efforts to secure funds while the child was admitted at a hospital in the Iddo area of Lagos proved futile.

He described how he trekked across long distances from Ijora Badia to Makoko, pleading for assistance, but got none until the child passed away.

“Malik is not my firstborn. My first child is a baby girl. I lost her because I couldn’t pay hospital bills,” Chatta said during the conversation.

His voice heavy with emotion, he recounted that the child was eventually buried in a wooden Coca-Cola crate, an image that deeply moved those listening.

The actor’s story has struck a chord with fans and industry colleagues alike, shedding light on the often unseen struggles many entertainers face before fame.
