The poster for an upcoming movie Muna was recently released, and it has left people with questions like – is Muna a Nigerian movie? It features a number of Nigerian actors including Adesua Etomi so, you might as well say it is a Nigerian movie. Aside from the poster, it has also been showing some signs of a bad movie. These are some of the details that make us wonder what the new movie is going to offer:

‘Muna’ has waited for 2 years to be released

When this is the case for a movie, chances are there were re-shootings or worst, a key staff withdrew halfway through filming.

It’s 7 days to be released, there is yet no trailer

For a movie that has waited this long to be released, it is more appropriate to have a trailer ready before announcing it’s release.

When actors begin to extend their limit, or a drama star attempts to play action.

One of the photos of Adesua holding a Samurai sword has been spotted on social media. She appears to be playing a martial art character and this off for an actor who does drama. At some point in an actor’s career, drama stars eventually become bored with playing emotional roles. So they decide to explore unfamiliar genre. However, we are hoping Muna won’t be another parody of a Nigerian action movie.

‘Muna’ also features Falz, Onyeka Onwenu, Ebele Okaro and the wonder woman actress Mayling Ng. The shooting of ‘Muna’ which took place in Nigeria and Los Angeles was concluded in March 2017.
