Olori Theatre Entertainment & Productions just released a new movie titled ‘JUNE 12’.

Most Nigerians could easily relate with the movie from the title as it is an exceptional historical story of the democratic struggles and hardships Nigeria faced through 1993 till date. Showcasing the martyrs of June 12 Democratic Electoral mishap like Late MKO Abiola of the Social Democratic Party, Alhaji Tofa of National Republican Convention et al. Yet, it is not entirely based on the struggle alone; it also projects love, neglect, crime, injustice and more…

In the extract from the script:

“When June 12 election was annulled Nigerians stood their ground and fought tirelessly for the restoration of the mandate. Many were killed, several were injured, intimidated and incarcerated but the quest continued until democracy was restored…”

Join the Canada based producer Olori Funmilayo Adedeji also known for SUPPOSITION, MRS. LOVE, IYA ALAKARA, DOCTOR WILLIAMS, FAREEDAH, OJO IJOFI etc. as she screens her latest movie “JUNE 12” on February 24th, 2019 between 2:30pm and 4:30pm at the Globe Theatre here in Calgary, Alberta.

Major casts include Muyiwa Ademola, Funmilayo Adedeji, Jide Awobona, Ayo Mogaji and Taiwo Ibikunle. Others are Adunni Ade, Biola Adebayo, Sunkanmi Omobolanle and Toyin Adegbola.

The movie was directed by Abiola Paul Bogunmbe and DOP was Lekan Bature.
