Daniel Etim-Effiong shares marriage insights, explaining how love, partnership, and communication shape his relationship with his wife

Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong has offered a candid perspective on his marriage, describing it as a partnership built on love, communication, and mutual respect.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Mansplanation podcast, Etim-Effiong likened his marriage to a working relationship, emphasising that both partners have roles to play in nurturing a successful union.

“What I have with my wife is a working relationship. It’s a partnership, it’s a business, it’s an enterprise, that is founded on love. We decided that we are going to build this family,” Etim-Effiong explained.

He added that attraction to others is natural but separate from love.

“Do I get attracted to people? Yes. I can get attracted to you and not necessarily be in love with the person. It’s two different things. Cause there is being in love and loving someone,” he clarified.

Etim-Effiong stressed that marriage extends beyond romance.

It is an intentional collaboration in which love forms the foundation while communication, commitment, and respect guide daily interactions.
