Deyemi Okanlawon’s cinema debut ‘All’s fair in love’ hit N27 million

Seasoned actor Deyemi Okanlawon‘s cinema movie debut, ‘All’s fair in love’ has generated N27 million after its release on February 14, 2024.

The movie has broken impeccable records as the biggest-ever February opening for a Nollywood film, the highest opening weekend for a Nollywood Romcom, the top-grossing Nollywood film of the weekend and the highest opening weekend for a Nollywood film in 2024, according to an Instagram post shared by Deyemi.

“All’s fair in love,” which premiered on Valentine’s Day, focuses on the intricate relationship between two friends and business associates from Nigeria who become involved in a romantic pursuit of the same woman, played by Buhle Samuels.

Starring in the popular film are Deyemi Okanlawon, Timini Egbuson, Juliet Ibrahim, Beauty Tukura, Venita Akpofure, Lateef Adedimeji, Gbubemi Ejeye, Kenzy Udonsen, Oprah Okereke, and Timilehin Ojeola.

Deyemi Okanlawon shared his happiness on his page and thanked his followers.

He wrote: “Let this be a reminder that whatever you do in this life and in whatever situation you find yourself… never underestimate God and His plans for good towards you! I’m giving all the Glory to Him and Him alone and I thank every one of you family, friends and fans who have shown your love and support… this is our win! Guy’s we’re off to a great start and the #roadto1Billion has only just begun”.

Following his new feat, congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities flooded his comment section.
