Governor Rotimi Akeredolu dies after a long battle with leukemia
Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu dies after a long battle with leukemia and prostrate cancer.
However, Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, in a statement issued on Wednesday, explained how the governor died.
He said; “Akeredolu answered the eternal call while receiving medical treatment in Germany. He succumbed to complications arising from protracted prostate cancer.
“The family and the state government will release further details regarding his funeral arrangements.”
Rotimi Akeredolu died in the early hours of December 27, 2023, aged 67.
