Mr Joseph Aloba, the father of deceased singer Ilerioluwa Aloba (aka Mohbad), told a coroner’s court on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, that the deceased had been living with singer Azeez Fashola (aka Naira Marley) since December 2019.

Joseph testified during a coroner’s inquest into the death of his son.
The musician di£d on Sept. 12 and was buried the following day. He was 27 years old.

His death has generated controversy, prompting the Lagos State Government to direct a coroner’s inquest.

The inquest began on Oct. 13 and is taking place at the Ikorodu Magistrate’s Court in Lagos State.

Joseph told the coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, that he and his son lived together for 18 years.

He said he did not know the exact house where his late son lived with Marley.

He testified that his son left his house at the age of consent and began to assist Marley while embarking on his career in music.

Joseph said that he saw the deceased three days before his death.
He added that he saw the deceased’s casket only in a picture.
According to him, his son assured him that he would be able to handle his dispute with Marley.

Joseph testified that the deceased’s landed property was in the custody of his mother-in-law, adding that the deceased often told him about his possessions held by his wife and her family.
He claimed that Mohbad’s wife put sleeping pills into his food when they lived with Marley.

‘I was sent out of my husband’s house day he died’ – Nollywood actor Ajigijaga’s wife

Wife of late Yoruba movie star, Mufutau Sanni Abdulahi, popularly known as Ajigijaga, has opened up on how she and her children were mistreated by her late husband’s family after his death.

Speaking on the Talk To B show, she revealed that she was evicted from their home on the same day he died and left with no belongings.

She further disclosed that she now relies on street hawking to provide for her family and has faced reluctance from others to assist her.

“The day he died, his family pursued me out of our house, saying they couldn’t take care of me and the kids. I didn’t take a dime from the house, even clothes, it was just me and my kids,” she said.

“Now that he is dead, I am now a hawker, this was something he never allowed me to do when he was alive. I have to hawk so I can feed my children.

“No one wanted to help me because they didn’t want people to misunderstand them and claim they were sleeping with her.”

Big Brother Naija reality show season 8 winner Ilebaye Odiniya, has expressed how excited she is to be one of the youngest multi-billionaires in Nigeria.

In a recent interview, she expressed how grateful she is to God for using Big Brother to make her the star she is today, saying that it is a really good privilege.

Speaking on her fashion sense, Ilebaye revealed she is inspired by Gen Z Baddie, adding that she is her own fashion icon.

“My outfit is inspired by Gen Z Baddie. I am my own fashion icon.

“It feels so good to be one of the youngest multi-billionaires and winning the All Stars. I am grateful to God for using Big Brother to make me the Star that I am. It’s a really good privilege”, she said.

Recently, Ilebaye pocketed N120 million after she won the All-Star edition of the reality show in October last year.

In a recent Instagram live session with fans, she confirmed that she has received the prize money.

Her revelation came after Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna called out the organisers, claiming that she has not yet received the N100 million she won from the show in 2022.

Ilebaye said, “I have received my [BBNaija prize] money. I haven’t even touched tiny part of it. My money haven’t finished. I haven’t touched my prize money. And this is a fact.”
