The celebrated actor opened up about his lifestyle during an interview with TVC Entertainment, saying he feels more comfortable working away from the centre of public attention.

Nouah explained that staying out of the spotlight allows him to concentrate better on his craft and gives him a greater sense of safety.

“It is, kind of. I’m able to work better with just being in the low, in the background than upfront. I feel safer in that lane,” he said.

The actor stressed that his approach is not about avoiding publicity for his projects.

Rather, he draws a clear distinction between promoting his work and promoting himself.

“If I have a work or a job, I’ll promote the job. It is not about promoting myself, it is about the work,” Nouah said.

According to him, this philosophy explains why he is often less visible in the public space than some other celebrities.

For Nouah, remaining low-key is a deliberate lifestyle choice that allows him to focus on the quality of his work rather than the attention surrounding his personality.

He also noted that his appearance on the programme was specifically to discuss the character he plays, Tornado, rather than to draw attention to himself.

“That’s why I am here to talk about the character I play, Tornado,” he added.

The actor’s comments offer an insight into his approach to fame after decades in Nollywood, where he has remained one of the industry’s most respected performers.

Rather than making celebrity visibility the centre of his career, Nouah appears more interested in letting his performances and projects speak for him.
