Music artist Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is set to spread joy this Christmas by generously donating ₦100 million to children to celebrate the festive season and beyond.

The “Ojuelegba” crooner has pledged to kickstart this benevolent act in Surulere, where he spent his formative years.

The initiative, scheduled to commence this evening, is a testament to Wizkid’s commitment to giving back to his community and beyond.

Wizkid revealed that the donation is dedicated to the memory of his late mother, who was laid to rest in a grand ceremony a few weeks ago.

The artist, currently on a music hiatus, said he remains focused on making a positive impact beyond the realm of entertainment.

Wizkid’s decision to extend his generosity to children echoes his desire to create lasting memories for the younger generation during the holiday season.

While he announced his break from music weeks ago, the artist continues to use this time to connect with his roots and spend quality moments with family and friends in Lagos.
