In a recent address, Edochie advised musicians to move away from relying on sponsorship and instead actively seek out opportunities to showcase their talents.

He encouraged them to approach bars and lounges and offer to perform for free, suggesting that these venues provide a platform where their skills can be seen and appreciated by the right people.

“To all the musicians, stop begging for sponsorship. Go to bars and lounges and beg them to let you sing for free. That’s where your talent will be noticed,” Edochie stated.

Turning his attention to aspiring actors, the controversial figure emphasised the importance of self-initiative. He advised them against simply waiting for connections to materialise, and instead encouraged them to actively seek out locations where films are being produced and to build their own professional networks.

“Don’t sit around begging for connections. Ask where films are made, go there, and connect yourself,” he said.

Edochie concluded his message by urging all aspiring artists to take control of their own destinies: “Good things come to those who work for it. So don’t sit idle; get up and work. Your destiny is in your hands.”
