An actress and skit maker, Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy wa, the fictional wife of Mr Macaroni, says she has stopped making New Year resolutions.

She told Saturday Beats, “I have stopped making New Year resolutions. At any point in time if I feel like doing something, I will do it. If I feel like putting something in motion, I will do it. I don’t wait till a new year before doing anything. If something comes up today, and I need to get it done tomorrow, I will do it.”

On the changes she will like to see in the entertainment industry in 2023, she said, “I want the industry to be more open to female filmmakers and producers. I know we already have a lot of female producers, but they are the popular ones, such as Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele and Kemi Adetiba. We need more of them. And. that is what I am hoping for.”
