In a candid Instagram post on Sunday, Ojo revealed that her decision to remain silent was not weakness but a deliberate act of restraint, guided by her faith and the advice of her legal team.

“Honestly, I haven’t laughed this hard in a while, these videos cracked me up real good,” she wrote. “But on a more serious note, I’ve seen all your messages and questions about why I’ve remained silent over the defamatory statements and curses Lizzy has directed at my family, especially my grandson.

Honestly, most times, I struggle to hold my peace, but I have to ignore the distractions. Who God has blessed, no one can curse.”

The actress disclosed that her legal team has been closely monitoring developments and documenting Anjorin’s remarks for potential legal action. She added that her priority in recent months had been supporting her daughter through motherhood and embracing her new role as a grandmother.

Ojo also hinted that once she returns to Lagos, she may directly confront the situation. “Silence can be powerful,” she noted, stressing that while it has been difficult to stay quiet, she believes the timing of her response must be right.
