Omisore made the revelation during an interview with African A-List, where he described divorce as a painful experience that can leave an enduring emotional mark.

The actor said he was no longer holding on to the hurt from his marriage, but acknowledged that the experience remained part of his life.

“It’s difficult; it’s only God who can heal a divorcee,” Omisore said.

“I am not holding on to the hurt; it’s just going to be a part of you. You cannot live out of it.”

Omisore explained that living alone can bring a particular sense of loneliness, even when other forms of companionship are available.

“You’ll feel lonely in the house; it’s not like you don’t have a woman who can satisfy you, but that is different from having a wife,” he said.

His comments offered a candid glimpse into the emotional side of rebuilding a life after marriage, particularly the everyday companionship that can be difficult to replace.

Omisore also spoke warmly about his children, saying their presence meant he did not regard his marriage as a failure.

“There are times when you know that when you’re troubled, someone would calm you down,” he said.

The actor recalled deliberately keeping his personal struggles away from his children, sometimes remaining in his car outside his home until he had composed himself.

“Instead, I will get home, I will park outside for a while, and wind down, so those children wouldn’t know something is wrong with me,” he said.

For Omisore, fatherhood has therefore become an important part of how he views his past, with his children giving him a positive perspective on a difficult chapter.

“I didn’t suffer a failed marriage because glorious children came from it,” he said.

Looking ahead, the actor said he hopes to return to Europe within the next decade and live a quieter life focused on raising his children according to his faith.

“In the next ten years, I want to go back to Europe, live a quiet life and raise my children in the way of the Lord,” Omisore said.
