Speaking in a now-viral video shared on social media , Odumodublvck described music as a reciprocal craft that rewards effort but insisted that it has never gone beyond that for him.

“I don’t love music. But music and I are friends. I like you (music), and one thing I know about you is that you’re reliable. When you say you’ll deliver, you do because you meet me at the point of my effort,” he explained.

The artist went on to clarify that the success he’s achieved in music is purely the result of the hard work he’s invested in his craft.

“Whatever work you put in is what music will give back. Music doesn’t cheat. But to say I love music? No, no, no. Music hasn’t gone out of its way to do anything for me. It’s the work I put in that made it reciprocate.”

Odumodublvck’s unconventional perspective has triggered a mix of reactions online, with fans and industry insiders debating his views on passion and effort in creative pursuits.

Known for his unique blend of Afrobeats and drill, Odumodublvck has carved out a niche in the Nigerian music industry.

Despite his professed lack of love for music, his dedication to his craft remains evident in his growing success and fanbase.
