Fuji icon Pasuma celebrates 58th birthday at Club Tipsy, Lagos, hosted by entrepreneur Mama Paso, delivering an electrifying performance for fans

Nigerian Fuji music legend Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Odetola, popularly known as Pasuma, celebrated his 58th birthday with an electrifying performance at Tipsy Club and Restaurant, Lagos, hosted by award-winning entrepreneur Honourable Bunmi Obakoya, also known as Mama Paso.

The event drew a vibrant crowd of fans, friends, and colleagues who came to honour the Fuji maestro, who has maintained relevance in the Nigerian music scene for over four decades.

Pasuma delivered a high-energy performance lasting several hours, expressing gratitude to Allah for his blessings and emphasising the role of prayer in his life.

He also commended Obakoya for her consistent support of his brand, describing her hosting of his birthday as a generous and meaningful act.

“Alhamdulillah. I thank God for sparing my life and for allowing me to reach this milestone. Staying relevant in Fuji music for over 40 years is not easy. I cannot do it alone, and that’s why I appreciate everyone – my family, friends, fans, and especially Honourable Bunmi Obakoya. May God continue to uplift her,” Pasuma said during a brief interview before taking the stage.

Obakoya, CEO of Diffusernigeria, is known for offering a wide range of scents and perfumes, including oud, fruity, and oriental fragrances, catering to both personal and commercial use.
