Juma Jux shares how he first met his wife Priscilla Ojo in Rwanda, describing love at first sight before realising she was a celebrity

Tanzanian singer Juma Mussa Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux, has opened up about the first time he met his wife, influencer Priscilla Ojo.

Speaking with Yanga FM, Juma Jux said he first encountered Priscilla in Rwanda and immediately fell for her looks, unaware she was a celebrity.

“I met Priscilla in Rwanda. I didn’t know she was a celebrity. When I saw her, it was love-at-first-sight. I was like, ‘Wow! This girl is beautiful, I like her,’” he said.

Juma Jux added that while his marriage to Priscilla has significantly influenced his career and fanbase, he did not realise her public influence for some time.

“After we had conversations, I figured out that she is the one I would marry. It was love-at-first-sight to be honest. Even after many meetings, I still didn’t know she was a celebrity until I hosted her in Zanzibar and blogs carried it,” he explained.

The singer’s revelation gives fans a glimpse into the romantic beginnings of one of East Africa’s high-profile celebrity couples.
