Prophet raises fund for popular Yoruba actress, Iyabeji Omo Araye Le

A popular Ibadan-based prophet, Agbala Gabriel has shown his compassionate side by raising funds for veteran actress Adenike Gboye, popularly known as Iya Ibeji Omo Araye, who is currently suffering from a stroke.

The prophet in a live show on his Facebook page said he has decided to take it upon himself to build a two-bedroom flat for the actress who has been in the acting industry for over three decades.

The actress, who has starred in several Yoruba movies, is currently going through a difficult time as she struggles to recover from her stroke. She has been unable to walk or move her limbs for some time now and is in need of proper care and attention.

According to her daughter, Aderonke, she said her mother lost a son to sickness, and ever since then life has been difficult for them.

Aderonke reveals that she finds it difficult to secure a house because most landlords, reject them whenever they found out that she has a sick mother.

Her heartbreaking story was touched by Ibadan-based prophet, Agbala Gabriel who invited them to his place in Ibadan.

A fundraising campaign for Iya Ibeji Omo Araye was launched by Agbala Gabriel, as he call on his followers and well-wishers to support the cause. He shared a post of the actress in her current state and explained the need to help her in her time of need.

The campaign has received support from Netizens to show their support and make donations towards the building of the two-bedroom flat.

The prophet has expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support and has assured that the funds will be used to build a comfortable and accessible flat for the actress.

The actress and her daughter also thank the prophet and offer them support.
