Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya reveals shocking details about her marriage breakdown with Saheed Olarewaju, including false accusations and hardships.

Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has publicly addressed the collapse of her marriage to Saheed Olarewaju, known as Jago, during a recent interview with her colleague Bimpe Akintunde.

The actress disclosed that a friend allegedly misinformed her husband about her intentions, claiming that Odusanya was planning to leave him to pursue a life of prostitution. She stated, “A friend of mine told my partner that I wanted to leave him and go into prostitution.

That I went to sleep in a Senator’s house with our daughter, Fife. My mouth was left open when he told me.”

Reflecting on the fallout, Odusanya shared that her ex-husband later realised he should not have listened to the hearsay that contributed to their marital strain.

“My ex later realized that he shouldn’t have listened to the things he heard back then,” she said, emphasising the impact of gossip on their relationship.

To refute the false claims, Odusanya revealed that she provided evidence of her whereabouts through a video recording.

“I sent him a picture of where I was. God gave me grace because I did a video recording of the time and date on my phone. I recorded it when we got to where we would sleep,” she explained.

The emotional toll of their separation was profound for Odusanya, who admitted to feeling lost and financially unstable.

“I had nothing when we separated; all my jewelry was taken away, and I fainted. I was wondering where to start. I cried so much that day because I didn’t have up to N10,000 in my account, but I decided this was it. No money to get accommodation,” she recalled.
