Ayodele Makun, a renowned Nigerian stand-up comedian and Nollywood actor, has decided to step away from his comedic career and venture into music, where he takes a shot at Seun Kuti.

Ayo Makun shared a video online in which he participates in a musical challenge by Goya Mentor. The popular actor emphasizes his boss-like qualities, aligning with the lyrics of the song.

In the clip, Ay highlights why he sees himself as a boss and will continue to hold that title, mentioning the success of his shows that are still dominating.

In his caption, Ayo Makun disses Seun Kuti for being offended by his comedy, stating that he is exploring music because he has received numerous complaints about his jokes.

“Offending people with comedy has become excessive. So, I decided to join the @goya_menor Don Dada challenge that has been flooding my timeline. At least let me show you guys my rap skills,” Ayo Makun wrote.

His post received positive comments, with many applauding and encouraging him to continue his career.

It is worth recalling that Ayo Makun responded to Seun Kuti after the latter called him out for mocking his daughter in a comedy skit.

Seun Kuti accused Ayo Makun of referring to his daughter as a dog, which upset the singer. He clarified that he wasn’t bothered by the actor mocking his encounter with the police, but he was furious about the portrayal of his daughter.

In retaliation to Kuti’s online rants, Ayo Makun clarified that he never called Seun’s daughter a dog and asserted that children are off-limits.
