Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has recounted a remarkable encounter with billionaire businessman Obi Cubana during a visit to the Cubana Millennium City site in Asaba.

According to the actor, he went to discuss “a few matters” with Cubana, but what happened afterward left him pleasantly surprised.

Yul claimed that Cubana turned to his staff and made an unexpected promise regarding the actor’s future ownership within the luxury estate.

“Yul will own a house here,” he quoted Cubana as saying. The statement reportedly came without prior arrangement, making the moment memorable for the actor.

Yul praised Cubana’s long-standing culture of supporting others, noting that the businessman often invests in people quietly, without seeking public attention.

“Obi Cubana is a big asset to Ndi Igbo… A man who has built many men and keeps building,” Yul wrote on Instagram, describing him as a “true Igbo king and leader.”

The actor expressed gratitude, offering prayers and wishing Cubana continued success.

Reactions from social media users ranged from admiration for the businessman to reminders that Yul would still need to work toward owning the house.
