Nollywood actress and filmmaker Yvonne Jegede has called for the release of social media blogger Justice Crack, describing his continued detention as “embarrassing” and urging authorities to consider his family situation.

Yvonne pleaded for Justice regarding Crack , the video message shared online, where the actress acknowledged that the blogger may have acted wrongly, particularly in relation to matters involving the military.

“We have come to understand that he has done wrong,” Yvonne Jegede said, stressing that civilians should not interfere in military affairs and that she accepts that principle.

However, the actress made a passionate plea on behalf of the detained blogger’s family, including his wife and children, asking that he be released and allowed to return home.

“It’s becoming embarrassing that this is where we are having to flex muscle,” she added, noting that the situation has created hardship for his dependants.

She further described the detention as unfair in light of current economic conditions, arguing that removing a breadwinner from his family places additional strain on those left behind.

The Yvonne Jegede Justice Crack appeal has sparked public discussion online, with mixed reactions from users debating accountability, press freedom, and the limits of online commentary.
