Zack Orji made the remarks during an interview, arguing that the government’s reforms are on the right path and should be given time to yield results, despite widespread public frustration over the cost of living.

The veteran actor insisted that many of the negative narratives circulating online are misleading, adding that citizens often rely too heavily on social media without fully understanding the broader economic context.

He further claimed that prices of some food items, including rice and beans, were beginning to stabilise, suggesting that gradual improvements were already taking shape under the current administration.

Addressing concerns about hunger, Zack Orji stated that hardship is not unique to Nigeria, describing it as a global issue that predates the current government.

Zack Orji speaks in defence regarding Tinubu intensified after he recounted a recent trip to the United Kingdom, where he said he faced criticism from Nigerians abroad for supporting the president.

He maintained that reforms are often painful at the beginning but necessary for long term progress.
