The new month is starting on a good note for Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo as he acquires a luxury home.

The actor is beginning the new month of August as a Landlord.

Taking to Instagram, the most eligible Nollywood bachelor shared the good news with his fanmily.

He appreciated God for the new month and for the new home.

“New month, New Home. Thank you Lord for the Gift of New, I’m grateful”.

Showering him with congratulatory messages, celebrities took to his comment section to praise him.

In the video of the new house shared on Instagram by the actor, many could spot his convertible Chevrolet Camaro car.

In 2018, Alex Ekubo set the internet on fire as he shared pictures of him relaxing with his acquired customized convertible Chevrolet Camaro on his Instagram page.

The fun-loving actor had shared cute pictures of him flaunting his car, the car which he named Fancy had a customized plate ‘Actor’ on it.

Alex who was so obsessed with his new fancy ride had on several occasions posted pictures of his car as he bragged about it.

He captioned in one:
“If you take care of your car, your car would take care of you.”

And in another, he wrote:
“I miss my baby Fancy, (yes i call my car Fancy, cuz she’s soo fanciful”.

This new blessing is coming days after his ex-fiancee Fancy Acholonu, shed light on her breakup with the actor. The American actress and businesswoman set the record straight on her broken relationship with the actor.

KFN recalls the internet was set agog in August 2021 when Fancy Acholonu called off her 3months engagement with the actor.

Alex Ekubo and Fancy Acholonu on August 25th sparked a relationship breakup as they unfollowed each other on the photo and video-sharing app, Instagram.

Confirming their breakup, Fancy Acholonu took to her official Instagram page to plead for privacy.

According to Fancy, she broke up with him because they both needed to find happiness and live in their truth.

In her words;

“Hey Guys, I am writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship, engagement and I have called off the wedding with Alexx Ekubo. I am aware that this may be a shock to many people. I made the best decision for myself because it is important that everyone finds their happiness and live in their truth. At this time, my family and I ask for you all to please respect our privacy. Thank you so much!”.

Many took advantage of the situation, to question Alex Ekubo’s sexuality.

Her statement, ‘Living in their truth’ sparked outrage as netizens and some Instagram bloggers alleged that the sexuality of Alex Ekubo caused the crash of the relationship.

Setting the records straight, Fancy Acholonu in a lengthy post on her Instagram stated that her words were twisted and taken out of context.

She debunked the rumors of him being homosexual.

Fancy Acholonu also tendered an apology to him and his family over how she handled the breakup.

However, Fancy stated that she wouldn’t be disclosing why they broke up since she and Alex had talked things out and he had apologized to her in private.
