Nigerian comedian AliBaba infidelity claims involve witnessing wives of governors and powerful figures engaging in extramarital affairs in their own homes

The veteran entertainer shared these experiences as a guest on the ‘Outside the Box’ podcast.

AliBaba spoke candidly about his observations, offering glimpses into what he described as the unethical behaviour occurring behind the scenes within the circles of society’s wealthy and powerful elite.

“I’ve been in the houses of a lot of big big men, governors and the rest of them. And I see wives of a lot of people that I know coming to do things and I would greet, ‘how are you? How is everything?” AliBaba recounted during the podcast.

He further detailed specific instances, recalling encounters where he witnessed men, whom he identified as powerful figures, engaging in extramarital affairs while their wives were present in the same residence.

He described scenarios where these men would dismiss their wives before resuming their illicit activities.

AliBaba also narrated subsequent encounters with these wives at public events in Lagos. He described awkward situations where he would politely greet them, sometimes noting a significant passage of time since their last meeting, while their husbands remained unaware of his knowledge of the alleged infidelity.

He suggested a level of complicity or silent acknowledgment in some of these interactions.

“And then those guys would do their philandering and tap her bum ‘come on go back inside I’m not finished with you’ and then she goes back inside. And then I run into her at an event in Lagos and the husband is saying ‘oh how are you, meet my wife’, I say ‘oh madam it’s a pleasure, I’ve not seen you in nearly five years, where have you been?’ and she’s like ‘I’ve been around, good to see you’ and then we’ll continue. And maybe she sees me somewhere again, she calls me and says ‘Ali thanks’, I say ‘it’s okay’,” AliBaba explained.

These revelations from a well-respected figure like AliBaba are likely to spark considerable discussion and raise questions about the private lives of Nigeria’s elite.
