BBNaija star Soma denies abuse allegations by his ex, Hilda Dirisu, and demands a public apology, labelling the claims as false and defamatory.

 

 

Big Brother Naija star Soma has firmly denied allegations of physical abuse and drugging made by his ex-girlfriend, Hilda Dirisu.

The reality TV star responded to the accusations in a post on his Instagram, labelling them as completely false.

Hilda had earlier claimed that Soma physically assaulted and drugged her during their relationship. However, the former BBNaija housemate refuted the claims, describing them as baseless and damaging to his reputation.

Soma’s legal representatives, Kelmar Legal, issued a formal statement demanding a retraction and public apology from Hilda within seven days.

The statement, shared on Soma’s Instagram, reads:

“Our client unequivocally denies these allegations and asserts that at no point in the relationship did he engage in acts of physical violence, drugging, or abuse toward any individual.

You are hereby formally put on notice to immediately issue a public and unequivocal retraction of defamatory statements and provide a formal written apology within 7 days.”

The public response has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans and critics debating the issue. Soma maintains his innocence, urging people to await further developments as he takes legal steps to protect his name.

The accusations and subsequent denial have added to ongoing conversations about the importance of addressing claims responsibly and ensuring fair representation in sensitive matters like abuse allegations.
