Big Brother Naija star Hermes Iyele has announced the passing of his mother, Isioma Phebian Iyele. In an emotional post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, 6 November 2024, the reality TV star revealed that his beloved mother died on Tuesday, 5 November 2024.

Sharing a heartfelt message alongside a picture of his mother, Hermes expressed the depth of his grief and asked for prayers and support from fans and well-wishers.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I would like to make public the passing of my beloved mum ISIOMA PHEBIAN IYELE on the 5th of November 2024,” he wrote.

Hermes went on to acknowledge his current emotional and financial struggles, expressing that he felt unable to manage the situation alone.

“I am doing this so I can properly start my grief and also because I currently lack the strength or capacity (mentally and finance-wise) to handle this situation. Pls pray for my siblings and I. Pls support us in all the ways you can,” he added.
