Speaking directly to prospective participants, the reality star shared a candid video on TikTok, outlining what to expect inside the house and beyond.

Tolanibaj urged hopefuls to stay authentic and avoid playing safe, reminding them that viewers connect with bold personalities. “Be yourself. Don’t go in there and be boring. Nigerians are going to hate it. You will be surprised that it will not work in your favour,” she said.

She emphasised the importance of appearance, noting that the show offers a platform to catch the eye of fashion brands. “It is a show and also a way for you to sell yourself to fashion brands,” she said.

Tolanibaj encouraged daily styling and advised housemates to pack their own outfits in case the ones provided for Saturday night events fall short of their taste.

The former housemate also stressed a vital truth about relationships in the house. “Your housemates are not your friends. Understand that just because you are living in a house together does not mean there is real friendship,” she warned. For her, any genuine bond that survives after the show is a rare bonus.

Planning for life after eviction or victory was another key point. She explained that Big Brother Naija is not a long-term support system and that contestants must prepare to navigate life with or without the prize money.

“If you win 10, 6 or 20 million, every week they can send you N200,000 to N500,000. So plan, don’t depend on that money,” she cautioned.

For those who may not make it to the finals, she reassured them that success lies in how well they handle life beyond the house.

“It is not about how far you go in the game, it is what you do after the show,” she stated, highlighting that public relevance often depends on post-show strategy rather than show duration.
