Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has hit back at critics persistently questioning her about her husband and children.

Expressing her frustration, she took to Instagram to call out those prying into her personal affairs, questioning their intense curiosity about her family matters.

The actress, known for her outspoken nature, did not hold back as she labeled such individuals as “monitoring spirits” and made it clear that she owes no one an explanation about her private life.

*”Everybody has a lifestyle, and if you don’t like mine, too bad. If all these people asking me this kind of question aren’t monitoring spirits, what have they got to do with knowing about my family?”* she wrote.

Rita Edochie further emphasised that people should respect her boundaries and accept only what she chooses to share online.

She insisted that she would not be pressured into revealing more than she is comfortable with.

This is not the first time the actress has confronted online critics. She has previously spoken out against social media trolls, defending her personal choices and standing up for those close to her.

Her bold response has sparked conversations among fans, with many supporting her stance on personal privacy.
