Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez hints at retiring in 3-5 years to focus on legacy building and plans a career shift within the entertainment industry.

 

 

Famous Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has revealed plans to retire from music within the next three to five years.

The “Like Ice Spice” hitmaker made this announcement during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where he shared his thoughts on legacy, financial security, and life beyond music.

“I will keep doing my music to the point where I know that I’ve saved up something that would last me for a lifetime; enough legacies.

And I project I will be done in the next three to five years,” Blaqbonez stated, highlighting his commitment to creating lasting contributions to the music industry.

The rapper also shared insights into his post-retirement aspirations. He expressed a desire to remain within the entertainment sphere, exploring roles such as consultancy for record labels.

“I will find another job in the entertainment industry. I would probably work as a consultant to a record label,” he added.

Known for his distinctive style and bold personality, Blaqbonez has built a reputation as one of Nigeria’s most innovative and outspoken artistes.

While his plans to step back from the spotlight may surprise fans, the rapper seems determined to ensure his impact resonates long after his music career concludes.
