Denilson Igwe Mark Angel dispute

Denilson Igwe accuses Mark Angel of fabricating his $3.7 million forex loss claim, reigniting their ongoing dispute over finances.

The Nigerian content creator Denilson Igwe has cast doubt on claims by his former collaborator, Mark Angel, regarding a massive financial loss.

Mark Angel, a renowned skitmaker, recently shared on Instagram that 2024 has been the most challenging year of his life, revealing a staggering $3.7 million (approximately 6 billion naira) loss in forex trading.

His post quickly garnered sympathy from fans and followers, with many expressing their support for him during this turbulent time.

However, Denilson Igwe, once a prominent member of the Mark Angel Comedy team, has publicly questioned the veracity of the claim.

Taking to Instagram, Igwe wrote, “Lies na water. Some people are just worst than the devil,” implying that Angel’s story might be fabricated.

This isn’t the first time tensions between the two creators have surfaced. In 2024, Igwe accused Angel of diverting revenue generated by the comedy team’s streaming platforms into his personal accounts.

He alleged that while Angel made millions of dollars, other team members were paid meagre amounts, sparking a fallout that fractured their collaboration.
