Reports indicate that DisneyGPT helps employees with tasks such as IT support ticket creation, accessing the company roster, and analysing project finances.

Launched in beta earlier this year, the chatbot’s December update allows users to upload Excel and PowerPoint files and incorporates a curated collection of Walt Disney quotes tagged by themes like imagination, perseverance, and leadership.

An internal email sent to staff on October 2 described DisneyGPT as a “new partner in productivity” capable of helping employees “unlock the magic of your imagination.”

The update also includes playful prompts, asking users if they are “ready for an enchanting adventure,” blending AI functionality with Disney’s signature creativity.

Disney is also developing Jarvis, a more advanced AI assistant modelled after Iron Man’s iconic AI. D

esigned to handle tasks autonomously, Jarvis aims to further enhance the company’s AI capabilities and transform workflows across departments.

Although still in the early stages, Jarvis has the potential to significantly change Disney’s internal operations.

“It’s definitely something they want to push for everyone to lean into more,” a Disney manager said, noting the company’s growing reliance on AI.

Disney’s move reflects its long-standing tradition of merging innovation with entertainment to create new experiences for employees and audiences alike.
