Williams, posting on Instagram, described the difficulty of balancing professional commitments with the heavy personal grief she is experiencing.

Efunroye The Unicorn is scheduled to begin showing in cinemas nationwide on May 1st.

Despite her sorrow, Williams emphasised her determination to continue promoting the film as a tribute to her mother’s legacy.

Earlier, Williams had announced her official return to work after a period of mourning.

She described the past weeks as deeply emotional for her and her family, explaining that the major celebration of her mother’s life and legacy would be postponed until next year to honour her properly.

The actress’s mother was laid to rest on March 7th, with a small gathering of colleagues in attendance.
