The veteran actress made her comments in a video published on her YouTube channel, where she reacted to recent national discussions on insecurity and governance.

She expressed deep frustration over rising kidnappings, violent attacks and worsening fear across communities.

Dokubo said Nigerians were not seeking sermons or political parables but urgent solutions to persistent security challenges.

She argued that citizens want clear answers to why insecurity continues to escalate across the country.

She highlighted the impact on daily life, noting that children are being abducted, rural communities are being raided and farmers are abandoning their farmlands due to fear. She described the situation as heartbreaking and deeply distressing for affected families.

The actress also drew attention to what she called a widening gap between public officials and citizens.

She pointed out that while leaders operate under heavy security, ordinary Nigerians remain exposed to violence and uncertainty.

Dokubo referenced the emotional toll on parents of abducted schoolchildren, describing their experiences as painful and unacceptable.

She stressed that the priority of government should be the protection of lives and property.

She further questioned the effectiveness of current security measures, stating that many Nigerians continue to ask whether authorities can genuinely restore safety across the country.

Her comments come amid heightened national debate following President Tinubu’s recent declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State, a development that has continued to generate political and public reactions.
