Afod highlighted severe challenges affecting communities, including deteriorating roads, failing schools, and the collapse of healthcare services.

According to the filmmaker, several general hospitals in Idoani have been shut down, leaving residents without access to essential medical care.

The actor also raised concern over the state of education, alleging that teachers have abandoned schools due to poor conditions, while children are no longer attending classes.

He described the situation as alarming and deeply troubling for the future of young people in the community.

In a video shared online, Afod pointed to a nursery and primary school in Idoani as an example of the decay, urging authorities to confront the reality on the ground.

He insisted that the neglect extends across multiple communities within Ose Local Government Area.

Afod further revealed that some communities have endured power outages for up to two decades, with Idoani reportedly in darkness for eight years.

He argued that such prolonged deprivation reflects a systemic failure in governance.

Calling for immediate action, the actor appealed not only to the governor but also to local and federal representatives, including the chairman of the local government, lawmakers, and the area’s senator.

He urged coordinated intervention to address what he described as a worsening humanitarian situation.
