“It’s an emotional one. My first Eid as a father, Alhamdulilah Robil Alamin,” Lateef Adedimeji wrote.

The award-winning actor added that his sons, Rahman, Raheem and Rakeeb, were proof that “Allah does answer prayers”.

The couple had earlier announced the birth of their triplets through a heartfelt social media post that featured Bimpe Oyebade holding an ultrasound image.

Lateef Adedimeji described the birth as a blessing beyond what he had prayed for.

A week after the announcement, the couple held a private naming ceremony at their residence in Lekki, Lagos, attended by close friends and family members.

In another heartfelt message shared after the ceremony, Lateef Adedimeji thanked fans and colleagues for their overwhelming support and prayers since the birth of the children.

The actor said the experience of holding his children and watching his wife become a mother had changed his life forever.

The emotional milestone also follows public scrutiny the couple previously faced over not having children.
