Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck reveals his close friendship with Rema and shares a surreal dream about Burna Boy in a candid interview

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has opened up about his friendships in the music industry, shedding light on his close bond with Rema and a surprising dream he had about Burna Boy.

Speaking on the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Adesope, Odumodublvck described Rema as one of his closest friends. He also addressed misconceptions about his association with Seyi Tinubu, the son of Nigeria’s president.

“Rema is my friend. Seyi Tinubu is also my friend. Regardless of his father being the president and people throwing stones at him, he’s my friend,” the rapper stated.

He dismissed speculations that his relationship with Seyi Tinubu was politically motivated, emphasising that their bond was purely based on mutual respect and appreciation for his music.

Odumodublvck also shared a surreal experience involving Burna Boy. He revealed that before meeting the Grammy-winning singer in person, he dreamt about sharing a meal of pounded yam with him.

“Burna Boy is my spirit animal—Skepta too. Before I met Burna Boy, I saw him in my dream, and we were eating pounded yam.

When I finally met him, he told me that was the first time he had eaten pounded yam in two years,” he recounted, reinforcing his belief in spiritual connections.

The rapper’s remarks highlight the deep bonds and personal experiences that shape relationships within the Nigerian music industry.
