Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin and her husband, Mr Lawal, have unveiled their newly acquired mansion, with the actress using the occasion to respond to critics who she said attempted to distract her from achieving her goals.

The actress shared a video of the property on her Instagram page, showing the couple seated in front of the white two-storey building with a large parking area as they celebrated the milestone together.

In her caption accompanying the video, Anjorin claimed that some critics had deliberately tried to discourage her despite her not offending them.

“THEY MERCILESSLY ENGAGED ME ON DOING NOTHING WHILE I NEVER OFFENDED THEM WITH ONE THING. THE GAME IS DISTRACT, AND DESTROY HER TO LOSE FOCUS,” she wrote.

The actress added that the couple remained focused on their goals despite the challenges.

“WE HEARTLESSLY PLAYED THEM BACK WITH FOCUS, HARD WORK AND TEAMWORK,” she said.

Anjorin also expressed her desire to maintain a positive outlook while celebrating the progress made with the property, which she described as still being under development.
