Mary Gold apology Ijoba Lande

Mary Gold apologises to Ijoba Lande for her involvement in wife’s infidelity, admitting her role in taking Dara to Baba Tee’s house

Mary Gold, a well-known socialite and close friend of skit maker Ijoba Lande’s wife, Darasimi, has publicly apologised for her involvement in the scandal surrounding the couple’s troubled marriage.

In a heartfelt video message shared on her social media, Mary Gold took responsibility for her role in facilitating Darasimi’s infidelity with actor Baba Tee.

The apology comes after Mary Gold admitted that she was the one who took Darasimi to Baba Tee’s house, where the actor and Ijoba Lande’s wife had a sexual encounter.

While Darasimi initially denied the claims, stating that she had only sat on Baba Tee’s lap naked, the actor later confessed to having a brief sexual encounter with her after originally denying the affair.

Ijoba Lande, who had been dealing with the fallout from the affair, revealed that he had forgiven both his wife and Baba Tee. However, despite his forgiveness, he confirmed that he would not be taking Darasimi back into their marriage.

Baba Tee, who initially denied the affair, also later apologised to Lande, claiming he was unaware that Darasimi was married.

In her video, Mary Gold expressed deep remorse, saying, “I’m pleading with Lande to forgive me for taking his wife to Baba Tee’s house and for also allowing her and the other guy she cheated with to treat an infection in my house.”

Mary Gold’s apology adds another layer to the ongoing drama surrounding Ijoba Lande’s marriage. Her candid admission of her actions has been met with mixed reactions, with some applauding her for taking responsibility, while others continue to question the role of those involved in the betrayal.
