Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe, based in Lagos, Nigeria, on Wednesday, April 30, 2026, marked her 20th year in the film industry with a reflective message celebrating her career growth, breakthrough moments and continued relevance in Nollywood.

Sharing a video of one of the films that first brought her widespread recognition, Mercy Aigbe described her journey as one defined by evolution, purpose and consistency over two decades in the entertainment industry.

The actress noted that despite her long-standing presence in Nollywood, she remains active and continually developing her craft, describing her career as an ongoing process of growth and reinvention.
