Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe has called on parents, especially those in custody disputes, to prioritise their children’s well-being over personal differences.

Aigbe, a mother of two, shared an emotional email from a man struggling with co-parenting issues.

The sender, who found her movie *Ada Omo Daddy* deeply relatable, expressed frustration over his ex-partner making it difficult for him to be actively involved in his child’s life.

In response, Aigbe took to social media to urge parents to do better.

She emphasised the importance of setting personal conflicts aside and focusing on what is best for the children.

*”Parents really need to do better. How about setting differences aside and focusing on the well-being and what’s best for the kids?”* she wrote.

Aigbe further stressed that *Ada Omo Daddy* is more than just a film—it reflects real-life struggles many families face.

She encouraged more people to watch the movie, currently available on Netflix Naija and Circuit Streams, to gain insights into the complexities of co-parenting and custody battles.
