Omotola Jalade Ekeinde confirms her friendship with Genevieve Nnaji remains strong, dismissing rumors of a feud in a recent interview

Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has addressed rumors about her relationship with fellow actress Genevieve Nnaji.

Despite speculation that the actresses were no longer on good terms, Omotola confirmed in a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria that their bond remains strong.

“Oh, Jesus Christ. We are good,” she said when asked if they were still friends.

Omotola also explained that rumors of a feud were fueled by fans and the media. She emphasized that they were never actually fighting and that any perceived tension was the result of speculation, not reality.

“Na them start the quarrel before we know say we dey quarrel. So, we have to catch up with the quarrel. There was no quarrel. People don’t need to be best friends, but we talked. Like behind film, we dey talk normally,” she added.

In the interview, Omotola also shared her admiration for Chidi Mokeme, describing him as her favorite Nollywood actor due to his talent both on and off screen.
