Veteran actress Idowu Phillips better known as Mama Rainbow is gearing up for her 80th birthday.

The actress, who is set to clock 80 in October, has been counting down to her big day.

Though the date is still far, preparations are already in order for the event.

In a video uploaded on City People tv, Mama Rainbow called on her fans to join her in making the day memorable.

The beautiful aged actress shared a video of herself in her new house surrounded by her fans singing praises and prayers for her long life.

Sharing the video online, Mama Rainbow encouraged everyone to be happy, stating there are no scales to balance. She urged everyone to be satisfied through whatever means, even though it is hard.

Mama rainbow also encouraged everyone to press on even when everything seems impossible, stating happiness is the key.
