The ‘Peru’ crooner disclosed this in a recent interview with Billboard News in Los Angeles.

In the interview, Fireboy talks about how he got interested in making music, his many notable collaborations with the likes of Blaqbonez, Jon Bellion, Jon Batiste, Jax Jones, Madonna and his most well know collaboration Ed Sheeran on his most famous song “Peru,”.

He said he accepted Olamide’s deal because he knew it was “the right decision.”

“I rejected a couple of deals from big artists that wanted to sign me. But when Olamide came, I knew it was the right decision. And that process has really helped me in making decisions going forward,” he said.

Fireboy DML signed to YBNL Nation in 2028 and released his debut album, ‘Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps’ the following year.
