Afrobeats singer Ruger announces he’s ready to settle down in 2025, saying weddings around him made him rethink his playboy lifestyle

 

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has revealed his intention to get married this year.

The *Toma Toma* hitmaker shared his plans on Snapchat, admitting that seeing people around him tie the knot made him question his own lifestyle.

“Everybody is just getting married. Got me questioning myself — how long will I continue this playboy shiii? I’m settling down this year, period. I’ll soon be 30, tf,” Ruger wrote.

The singer, known for his signature eye patch and chart-topping hits, hinted at a desire for a more serious relationship as he approaches a new phase in his life.

Ruger has previously been open about his approach to love, even admitting in past interviews that he could love five women equally at the same time.

He also described himself as someone who falls in love easily, with gifts and compliments quickly winning his heart.

Although he didn’t disclose any details about a potential partner or wedding date, his announcement has sparked excitement and curiosity among his fans.
