Ruger jokes about relocating to Jupiter with aliens if fans don’t stream his new song “Toma Toma” featuring Tiwa Savage.

Afrobeats sensation Ruger has expressed his frustration with the low streaming numbers for his latest collaborative song, “Toma Toma,” featuring Tiwa Savage.

In a lighthearted post on his X handle, the singer joked that he would relocate to Jupiter and start a family with aliens if fans didn’t show more support for the track.

“If Una no stream this song, I go pack all my bags and studio equipment go Jupiter. Give like two aliens belle, collect citizenship for there.

Shey Una Dey mad see song naa #tomatoma,” Ruger wrote, mixing humour with a playful plea for more streams.

Despite his joke, it’s clear that Ruger is keen for his latest song to gain traction. The track, which features the iconic Tiwa Savage, has struggled to make an impact across streaming platforms, possibly due to the overwhelming dominance of other hits, including Wizkid’s new single “Dance,” which is currently topping the charts in Nigeria.

“**Toma Toma**” had the potential to become a chart-topping hit, but with the ongoing success of Wizkid’s release, other tracks, including Ruger’s, have found it difficult to rise in the ranks.

Ruger’s cheeky comment about moving to Jupiter quickly caught the attention of fans, sparking conversations about the pressures artists face in a highly competitive industry.

Though the post was light-hearted, it underscores the artist’s desire for his music to reach a wider audience.
