Amarachi Igidimbah recovers stolen iPhones, children’s clothes, and valuables after her help was apprehended trying to flee to Asaba

Nollywood actress Amarachi Igidimbah recovered stolen items from her domestic help, known as Gift, after the aide was apprehended by police while attempting to flee to Asaba.

The actress, who welcomed her second child last year, had earlier raised alarm online about her missing help.

Gift had allegedly stolen several items from Igidimbah’s home, including three iPhones, children’s clothing, expensive wigs, shoes, and food items.

In videos shared on her Instagram page, the actress updated her fans on the recovery process, showing the confiscated belongings.

The police intercepted Gift while she was trying to escape on a tricycle. Unable to provide receipts for the stolen phones, the aide was instructed to return with proper documentation.

Following this, fans who spotted Gift at a park detained her until Igidimbah arrived.

In her updates, Igidimbah emphasised her gratitude to the fans who assisted in the recovery and praised the peaceful handling of the incident without detaining Gift at the police station.

She also displayed the recovered items, which included her children’s clothes and personal possessions that had been taken.

Fans responded positively to the actress’s approach, applauding her for her calm and measured response. Many noted her generosity in leaving Gift with money despite the theft, praising her for handling the situation with patience and composure.

Amarachi Igidimbah had previously shared experiences of assisting street youths with apprenticeships and small businesses, noting challenges in ensuring accountability and focus among those she sought to support.
