The veteran actress explained that her husband usually handles market shopping because her fame makes it difficult for her to move around freely in public.

Speaking about their arrangement, Omotola said she occasionally accompanied him to the market earlier in her career but would remain inside the car rather than walk around shopping.

“I can’t go to the market because of my celebrity status. My husband is the one who goes to the market. In my earlier career I used to go with him but I’ll stay in the car,” she said.

She also highlighted the mutual support in their relationship, adding that they continue to strengthen each other.

“We strengthen each other,” the actress said.

Her comments offer a glimpse into how public recognition can influence ordinary routines, including shopping and other activities that many people take for granted.

While celebrity status brings visibility and professional opportunities, it can also make private outings more complicated, particularly when a public figure attracts attention in everyday settings.

Omotola’s remarks have also drawn attention to the practical ways couples share responsibilities, with her husband taking on market shopping while she avoids the attention that could accompany her presence.
